Tania is an actor, writer, make-up artist and producer who has kept herself busy with creative projects for as long as she can remember. She has production experience across a diverse range of areas - both commercial and creative, including theatre, brand content, micro documentary, digital and print marketing and ecommerce websites. A member of Screen Producers Australia, Women in Film and Television Australia (WIFT) and Australian Writers Guild, Tania has a Bachelor of Arts Hons. from the University of Western Sydney, and lives and works on land traditionally owned by the Dja Dja Wurrung people.

After creating the concept and writing Botanica, a six part television series Tania founded After Jane as a vehicle to take it from script to screen.

While contemplating a name for the company, Tania received an email from her father. Her Aunt had been tracing back their family tree and discovered they were descendants of the brilliant and much-loved English novelist, Jane Austen, known for her sharp wit and keen eye for the quirks and customs of her time.

Like Jane Austen, Tania is interested in telling stories about about ordinary people and places. And so… After Jane was born.
